​Stefanie Contreras is a Latinx/Latine author of sci/fi, fantasy, and horror (Romance pen name: Nyx Coronado), a geek girl, an officer with Geek Girl Brunch, a board member at WriteHive and marketing volunteer for Quill and Crow Publishing. She published The Merry Maids trilogy on Amazon - and is now working on a new fiction series featuring Latina superheroes. She also has four published short stories, The Warlock and the Crow (Rituals & Grimoires anthology), Pestilence (Autumn Nights charity anthology) and Collecting Dragonflies (Devotion in the Open Air anthology) all written as Stefanie Contreras, as well as Dragon Navidad (One Monstrous Feast: Tails, Trysts, and Tentacles anthology) written as Nyx Coronado.
