Our panelists hail from all over the globe, coming together to share their knowledge and experience with you for free! Get a chance to watch live and pre-recorded panels, ask questions live, and sit in on critiques and roundtables.
WRITEHIVE 2024 ANNUAL CONFERENCE INFORMATION
Important Notes! Please Read
- You must register for a ticket in order to attend the conference.
- Only one workshop per person is allowed. Please choose between First Page Critique or Query Critique.
- In order to qualify for a Live Pitch, you must be from a marginalized community, have a novel ready for submission, and the novel must fit the agent or editor’s MSWL.
You will not have access to the private WriteHive Conference Discord Server until a few days before the event. We will email you all the details, including instructions on how to enter the WH Conference Server at the email address you provide on this registration form. This email will be sent a few days before the event on June 5, 2024.
Please whitelist contact@writehive.org in your email. You will receive correspondences regarding your conference ticket from this email address.
If you have not received your Discord Server invitation email by 5pm EDT on June 6, 2024, please reach out to us at contact@writehive.org. If you have any questions, please read our FAQ first, as it has the most up to date information regarding the WriteHive Annual Conference.
When registering for your ticket, you will be able to select from available Critique workshops and the Live Pitch lottery. You will also be able to sign up for Critique waitlists if your desired workshop is full.
Please consider adding a donation to your ticket. WriteHive is free because of the donations we receive. All donations are 100% tax deductible as applicable by law. All donations directly benefit WriteHive programs.

Attending the Event
Attend when you can over the weekend. Most events will be pre-recorded so if you miss one or would like to watch simultaneous sessions, you can catch them later at any time!

1. How does the WriteHive Annual Conference work?
The WriteHive Annual Conference is a free conference hosted on a separate Discord Server. If you are familiar with WriteHive, this event will *not* on our main server. We will have a separate server just for the event. On that separate server we will host all sessions, break outs, exhibitor booths, and sponsorship events.
2. Do I have to register for the Conference in order to attend?
Yes. Please register here.
3. Where is this separate server and how do I find it?
We suggest you add contact@writehive.org to your email whitelist so you get all of our emails. A few days before the event, we will send you an invite to the server so you can log in and participate.
4. Do I have to sign up for Discord?
Yes, the event is held on Discord. You may register for the event prior to having a Discord account, but if you would like to attend the conference, you must sign up for Discord before the day of the event. You can find more information about creating a discord account here.
