B.L. Brown
Speaker
B. L. Brown writes disaster witches solving their problems through banter and increasingly poor decisions. Her ongoing urban fantasy series, Witch of the Demesne, launched in 2023 with her debut novel, Shady Depths, and her short fiction can be found in the monster romance anthology series, Tails, Trysts, and Tentacles, the Hurricane Helene relief anthologies To Appalachia With Love and Loving Carolina, as well as the Moms Who Write anthologies, Fireside: Modern Legends and Lore, and The Future of Us.
When she is not writing, B.L. is a human-wrangling, musical theatre nerd with a passion for fairy tales and folklore. She can often be found under a pile of digital literature or begging her academic friends for their JSTOR logins.
