Annie McCann is an Indonesian-Australian, Muslim author and emcee from Sydney, Australia. A published author of multiple short stories and the founder of multiple literary and writer networks including Read3r'z Re-Vu and The Write Pen Collective, Annie is passionate about diversity and representation in books, media and pop culture and works tirelessly to 'bridge the gap' in the creative space. On her limited days off, Annie is either slaying her ever growing reading pile, jamming to Michael Jackson's greatest hits or cheering on her favourite football team, Parramatta Eels. 'My Harimau King' is her debut novel, out June 2025, published by Melby Rose Publishing.
