Nicoletta Poungias (she/they) is a prizewinning artist from Germany who has
contributed to The Art of Breaking Up (Harper Design, 2020), the Emmy award-
winning show hitRECord on TV, and the queer poetry anthology He, She, They, Us
(Macmillan Children’s UK, 2024). An avid reader and former bookstore employee,
she values authentic storytelling that instills a sense of hope, particularly in
historically marginalized individuals, while honoring the realities of their lived
experience.
