EA Noble
Speaker
E.A. Noble is a rising voice in speculative fiction, known for crafting bold, imaginative narratives that center Black, Queer, fat, and neurodivergent characters. Her work challenges the status quo while celebrating the beauty and complexity of marginalized experiences, offering readers worlds where underrepresented identities take center stage unapologetically.
Noble studied Creative Writing at Jackson State University, where she fell in love with Southern folklore, gothic literature, and the deep-rooted storytelling traditions of the American South. Those influences live in her work by blending the uncanny with the intimate and grounding the fantastical in emotional truth. Her debut novel, When Blood Meets Earth, won a 2025 Indie Literary Award. She is an acquiring editor for FIYAH Lit Mag & Rawhead Journal. She is also Marketing Chair for WisCon, an inclusive feminist science fiction and fantasy convention. Her previously published and future works can be found in FIYAH Lit Mag, Harriet’s House, Kawandi, and more to come.
Beyond writing, Noble values rest, sunlight, and time spent with her found family. More information can be found at: theeajournal.me
